Die Sängerin Tamara Lukasheva, der Gitarrist Kalle Kalima und der Posaunist Janning Trumann bilden ein Trio, das mit seinem unverwechselbaren Zusammenspiel zwischen Jazz, Kammermusik und Liedkunst eine eigene Klangwelt geschaffen hat. Drei Musiker:innen, die sich in der europäischen Jazzszene längst einen Namen gemacht haben – alle mit individuellen Projekten, international tätig und vielfach ausgezeichnet. Im Zentrum des Ensembles steht die Verbindung von Musik und Sprache. Die drei greifen auf Gedichte und Texte von Rainer Maria Rilke, Bertolt Brecht und eigene Lyrik zurück, die sie in musikalische Formen übertragen. Dabei entstehen Kompositionen, die sowohl präzise ausgearbeitet als auch offen für improvisatorische Momente sind. Das Trio steht für eine Musik, die ohne große Gesten auskommt und dennoch starke Wirkung entfaltet: berührend, direkt und geprägt von drei Persönlichkeiten, die ihre Kunst in den Dienst eines gemeinsamen Ausdrucks stellen.

Singer Tamara Lukasheva, guitarist Kalle Kalima, and trombonist Janning Trumann form a trio that has created its own unique soundscape with its unmistakable interplay between jazz, chamber music, and song artistry. Three musicians who have long made a name for themselves on the European jazz scene—all with individual projects, internationally active, and multiple award winners. At the heart of the ensemble is the connection between music and language. The three draw on poems and texts by Rainer Maria Rilke, Bertolt Brecht, and their own poetry, which they translate into musical forms. The result is compositions that are both precisely crafted and open to moments of improvisation. The trio stands for music that does without grand gestures and yet has a powerful effect: touching, direct, and shaped by three personalities who put their art at the service of a shared expression.
