WINTERJAZZ KÖLN 2026
15 Jahre Special Edition

Kaum zu glauben, aber wahr: Unser Musikfest in, aus und für Köln wird fünfzehn – und hat den Mofaführerschein bestanden!

14 Bands und Projekte werden sich auf vier Bühnen im Stadtgarten und im Club Zimmermanns präsentieren. Für diese Special Edition 2026 haben wir fünf illustre Gäste eingeladen: Benoît Delbecq, Alexandra Grimal, Alexander Morsey, Monika Roscher und Cansu Tanrıkulu. Via Wildcard haben sie sich ihre Besetzungen zusammengestellt und werden ihre Kompositionen, Konzepte und Ideen gemeinsam mit Kölner Musiker:innen performen. Natürlich bleibt der Fokus auf außergewöhnliche Kölner Projekte und Working Bands weiterhin bestehen.

Und schon jetzt ein unfassbar großer Dank an euch – unser treues, interessiertes, lebendiges und immer fabelhaft zahlreiches Publikum – und an die vielen grandiosen Musiker:innen. Ihr macht WINTERJAZZ KÖLN seit 15 Jahren immer wieder zu diesem phänomenalen Ereignis! Orte der Kunst, wie unter anderem der Stadtgarten, sind Räume des Widerstands. Wir bleiben dabei, in diesen Orten gemeinsam mit euch eine Community zu schaffen, die sich für Respekt, Solidarität und Offenheit einsetzt.

WINTERJAZZ COLOGNE 2026
15 Years Special Edition

Hard to believe: our music festival in, from, and for Cologne is turning fifteen—and has passed its moped license test!Fourteen bands and projects will perform on four stages in the Stadtgarten and Club Zimmermanns. We have invited five illustrious guests for this special edition in 2026: Benoît Delbecq, Alexandra Grimal, Alexander Morsey, Monika Roscher, and Cansu Tanrıkulu. They have put together their lineups via wildcard and will perform their compositions, concepts, and ideas together with Cologne musicians. Of course, the focus will remain on extraordinary Cologne projects and working bands.And already now, an incredibly big thank you to you – our loyal, interested, lively, and always fabulously numerous audience – and to the many magnificent musicians. For 15 years, you have made WINTERJAZZ KÖLN this phenomenal event! Places of art, such as the Stadtgarten, are spaces of resistance. We remain committed to creating a community with you in these places that stands for respect, solidarity, and openness.
